Impact & sustainability analysis of the MSMEs projects in North Lebanon
Overview
CARE International in Lebanon (CIL) embarked on a critical mission to assess the impact and sustainability of services provided to Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in North Lebanon. This project was part of CIL’s commitment to enhancing the livelihoods of individuals, especially in the wake of the triple crisis and Beirut emergency.
Objectives:
The primary objectives of this project were to:
– Map and identify MSMEs support projects undertaken by international and local NGOs in North Lebanon.
– Analyze the impact of these interventions on MSMEs, highlighting successful components and lessons learned.
– Identify gaps in services provided to MSMEs.
– Recognize the challenges faced by NGOs in projects aimed at supporting MSMEs.
– Leverage the study’s findings and recommendations to offer more targeted and effective services to the MSME sector in North Lebanon.
Implementation:
The project involved thorough research, assessments, and stakeholder engagement to gather valuable insights and recommendations. It was carried out in close collaboration with consortium partners, ensuring a holistic and well-informed approach.
