Project Overview:
Zowada is a groundbreaking mobile application born from the collaborative efforts of the International Labor Organization (ILO) and The LEE Experience. This innovative project, funded with the support of the government of the Netherlands, aimed to enhance opportunities for both host communities and forcibly displaced individuals in eight countries.
Scope of Work:
As Salem Group, we played a pivotal role in providing business development consultancy services for this ambitious project. Our responsibilities encompassed various crucial aspects:
– Project Feasibility: Conducted a comprehensive assessment to determine the feasibility of the Zowada mobile app.
– Revenue Projections: Developed accurate revenue projections to ensure the financial sustainability of the project.
– Business Model: Crafted a clear and effective business model for each of the app’s five components and unified them under the Zowada entity.
– Business Plan: Formulated a comprehensive business plan for Zowada, which included a strategic expansion plan for the future.
– Content Development: Created the necessary content for the application, ensuring its readiness for launch.
– Marketing Strategy: Devised distinct marketing strategies for each of the app’s components as well as an overarching strategy for the entire mobile app.
– Market Research: Conducted in-depth market research and competitor analysis, enabling us to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and value propositions.
– Organizational Structure: Designed the organizational structure for Zowada, including departmental layouts, job responsibilities for key personnel, and the formation of an advisory board.
– Revenue Model: Implemented an advanced revenue model and developed a five-year financial plan for Zowada to ensure long-term sustainability and self-funding.
– Workflow Design: Formulated workflows for every component within the application, maintaining clear communication with the development company throughout the process.
– Pitch Deck: Assisted in creating and training the Zowada Pitch Deck, a crucial tool for presentations to ILO and other project stakeholders.
This collaborative effort between Zowada, ILO, and Salem Group aimed to create a digital accelerator and incubator that pioneers a strategic vision, setting new standards for integrated business incubators worldwide.
