Organizational Capacity Assessment and Development
Overview:
This consultancy involved four grassroots organizations that operated in Akkar and Tripoli. The approach was collaborative and participatory, allowing these organizations to assess their past status against recognized best practices.
Our Scope of Work:
Our role included evaluating technical capacity, identifying gaps, designing improvement plans, and developing policies and tools in six crucial domains:
– HR Management
– Financial Management
– Procurement
– Internal Controls
– PSEA
– Child Protection
Within these domains, we worked on areas such as policies and procedures, training, internal controls, and audit functions. The deliverables for this consultancy included a comprehensive work plan and methodology, an organizational assessment plan and tools, individual capacity assessment reports for each organization, thematic capacity development plans tailored to each organization’s needs, and the development of thematic policies and tools packages. This consultancy aimed to enhance the capacity and effectiveness of these grassroots organizations in Akkar and Tripoli, strengthening their ability to operate efficiently and in compliance with best practices.
