Salem Group had the privilege of serving as a consultant with COSV, contributing to the SEERS project through a range of essential activities:
1. Curriculum Development: Salem Group drafted and prepared the social economy curriculum, designed to be shared with project partners. This curriculum ensured a comprehensive and standardized approach to social economy initiatives.
2. Methodology Development: Salem Group facilitated the creation of a common methodology for various project components:
– Entrepreneurship Component: We were instrumental in designing and implementing entrepreneurship education and training, supporting business development, and establishing an incubation program through a sub-grants scheme.
– Employability Component: We played a pivotal role in developing strategies for on-the-job training, apprenticeship programs, career guidance, and the establishment of a Labor Market Observatory.
– Social Economy Approach: Salem Group tailored the social economy approach to align with the local context and specific project needs.
3. Market Assessment: Salem Group provided guidance and expertise in preparing the assessment report, focusing on identifying market skill gaps, opportunities, and challenges. This report served as a valuable resource for project planning and implementation.
4. Incubation Program: We actively followed up on the incubation program, particularly through the sub-grant scheme, ensuring that aspiring entrepreneurs received the necessary support and resources to succeed.
